Visit to Gianyar Regent, Bali Kabinda Encourages Synergy for Regional Security

GIANYAR – Fox 13.id – On Thursday, March 13, 2025, the Head of the Regional State Intelligence Agency (Kabinda) of Bali, Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Tony Kurniawan, paid a courtesy visit to the Regent of Gianyar, I Made Agus Mahayastra. The meeting, held at the Gianyar Regent's Office, aimed to strengthen cooperation between the local government and intelligence authorities in maintaining regional stability and security.

During the discussion, Brig. Gen. Tony Kurniawan and Regent Mahayastra addressed various strategic issues, including security enhancement efforts, local economic development, land-use changes, foreign nationals, as well as cultural and tourism preservation in Gianyar Regency. Both parties agreed that synergy between the local government and the State Intelligence Agency is crucial in addressing global challenges and ensuring the welfare of the community.

Brig. Gen. Tony Kurniawan, who previously served as Head of Logistics Bureau at the Main Secretariat of BIN, was appointed as Kabinda Bali in December 2024. Since taking office, he has actively engaged with various stakeholders, including community leaders, academics, legislative, executive, and judicial figures, to strengthen collaboration in security, defense, and development efforts in Bali.

Regent Mahayastra welcomed this visit and expressed hope that the established cooperation would enhance the effectiveness of local government programs, particularly in creating a safe, peaceful, and conducive environment for the people of Gianyar. (Team13)
